This is an in-studio demo of “Discotrope: The Secret Nightlife of Solar Cells” – an audiovisual performance by Amy Alexander and Annina Rüst. The algorithmic sound design for the performance was created by composer Cristyn Magnus. It generates the sound mix live using clips and snippets from the videos. So both sound and visuals are different at each performance.
